David is a founding partner of Site Solutions and ardent practitioner of the craft of landscape architecture and experiential design. David possesses the unique ability to blend spatial design with the appropriate level of hardscape, planting, lighting, and sound to create memorable environments to which people are inexorably drawn. He feels that landscape architects are unique among design professionals because the “human experience” is always made better because of their involvement. David is a self-described “first responder” in the war against global warming and gets great satisfaction knowing that the built environment is a more verdant, sustainable, and beautiful because of the efforts of himself and his colleagues in the profession. “There are many advocates for the environment; we actually do something to improve it every day. What better way to give back to the community?” says David.

  1. What is something you love about Landscape Architecture?
I like the fact that our profession allows us to take an idea, nurture it, and then turn this idea into something tangible that in the majority of cases improves the world in which we live.

  2. If you could be a mixed drink, what would it be?
    A Manhattan.

  3. What is your favorite way to socially isolate?
    Play golf solo.
