1105
Atlanta, GA
This 31-story Mixed Use Development called 1105, is located on West Peachtree Street in Atlanta Georgia. The 410-foot building will include 675,000 square feet of office space with two confirmed major tenants, Google and the law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell.
It is part of a broader $530 million developments that includes two other buildings: a luxury condominium tower called 40 West 12th and the first Atlanta location of the boutique hotel Epicurean. The office, hotel and condo tower are expected to open in 2021.
Located in the most desirable cultural area of Georgia, 1105 includes a streetscape that will be an extension of the Midtown Art Walk that connects to the Woodruff Arts Center.
SITE solutions designed the 9th floor one-acre park (which will be an activity area) streetscape, building entrances, motor-court and street plazas. The 9th floor park is at the epicenter of all three buildings that include condos, hotel and office space. The office workers and condo owners will have immediate access to the event lawn space and plaza for dining, networking, socializing and fun activities. The hotel will operate a large resort style swimming pool, complete with cabanas and an outdoor F&B facility for entertaining. The hotel includes outdoor luxury breakout spaces with fire pits for socializing.
The park will also accommodate nighttime events with spectacular lighting effects for office parties and residents use 24/7. The first floor condo owners enjoy their own outdoor patios with fireplaces and dining, while being able to watch park activities. A large activity space complete with grills, televisions, art walls, and fire pit is provided to the condos general owners.
Throughout the park custom seating areas are provided for intimate solitude to large party events. Unique site elements proliferate the park, including a seventeen-foot-long fire pit which becomes the nighttime focal point on the north plaza. From this vantage point, observers can see an attractive, panoramic view of the Atlanta skyline.
